Review

Karl Keil (1807-1888), a German Protestant exegetist (interpreter of the Scriptures) and Franz Delitzsch (1813-1890), a Lutheran scholar with Hebrew heritage, undertook the huge task of commenting on each and evey book of the Old Testament. The resultant work is their vast and comprehensive book named Commentary on the Old Testament, originally published in 1866 in ten volumes. This BibleMax add-in features their commentary on each Old Testament's book. In all the texts, the authors present a knowledgeable discussion of the contents, as well as the historic context of the writtings. The text is full of cross-references and Biblical quotes, which shows the erudition of the authors. Now, this important work can be a part of your library through BibleMax software. BibleMax is a free program for reading and studying the Bible, as well as other religious texts. You can make it grow according to your needs by downloading and installing a great variety of modules, one of them is the Keil-Delitzsch commentary. If you are a serious Bible reader, don't miss this important book.
Advantages
